The first gen rabbit/golf/gti/jetta/cabrio have the most flawed system when you bought an ac equipped car. The outer and inner vents aren't connected. The inner only blow ac the outer only blow fresh/heated air.

Lmao. Didn't know you could get those with AC but should've guessed US-spec to have it as an option.
