UPDATE: So today I went to Argos (#BecauseBritish) and since my wheel had 3 years warrenty and I got it in April, 2014 I could either exchange it, get a different one (get money back if cheaper than price paid, or the otehr way round) or get my money back... on a gift card.
So I chose to get my money back on a gift card because they have the almighty T500RS GT6 Edition, for £350  . So I'm going to but that with the card, birthday money and if needed, then christmas money as well. Then I'll focus on getting the shifter. This might not all go to plan but all I can do is hope, wait and see what happens. Thank you everyone for your help, anything else that can help me; feel free to tell me (I'm dumb  )
