In a sense I'm glad insurance prices are as high as they are, it stops people from having that crash in the first place, and makes them take driving a bit more seriously in there early years. It also helps to ease congestion on the roads a little since less people will pay for it, as if congestion wasn't bad enough as it is around here.
A half hour+ commute by foot is often the reason many look towards getting a car but really? We're young and still have our walking legs, it'd also help keep the nation a little more healthy if people were more willing to walk from point A to B. Or even carpooling, it seems like sharing a car is almost unheard of these days yet it could really help with congestion and costs. However it does make life as a student pretty difficult if you need a car, but in most cases I think they don't really need a car and just want one because ooh it's shiney and fast etc -.-' |
