Basic Training - DJmad
Training Information:
Took place on: 29/05/2017 Trainer(s) Present: Nismo [T], Connor [T] Assistance Present: Angel [CA], Barney [CA] & Razz [CA] Lead Trainer: Nismo [T] Good Points: Your car control was good throughout the chase and your driving was generally safe for the most part. Your PIT maneuvers were well calculated 90% of the time and you used the correct amount of force and took your time to position the car correctly. Improvements: One of the first, but also most important improvement that needs to be made is leaving a larger safety gap between yourself and the suspect when approaching other roads/junctions. Quite a few times you would follow too closely to the suspect ahead and the suspect would perform a "fake-turn" to throw you off in another direction. When approaching areas where the suspect could go left or right it's important to give yourself time to react or you could end up crashing. Luckily you managed to control your car when this happened. Here are 2 images to help you understand: Spoiler (Click to View) Another thing I noticed was that you were not using the mini-map to the full potential. The mini-map will help you know which direction the suspect is heading if you do lose eyes on him. For example when you reacted late and needed to u-turn, you assumed that the suspect would continue going the same way, but he also performed a u-turn. You was not aware of this until he went past you. In short, don't predict where the suspect is going to go, but prepare and check your mini-map also. In the final chase I would have also liked to have seen you try out some other maneuvers in the final chase. You did limit yourself a little bit, even when you had backup you might have been able to bust the suspect with a boxing maneuver. Notes: Overall good performance and certainly a good improvement from previous training's. ![]() Congratulations, you have passed Basic Training. Thanks! The [TC] Training Team |
