I'm gonna be honest and don't know what open WE is but if you mean that by having the whole map available (outside of racetrack) then yes, I agree that it's too big. But having the whole racetrack available (what we have now + middle section that's blocked off by the tower/bridge) is not too big and it adds some variety.
That way people who want to drive the oldschool route can do that and the people who don't can drive as they wish, which is a win win imo.

Ah okay. Yeah I see your point. I think that most of the tracks are great but it's just that this layout is too boring, for me atleast.
