Interesting idea but I doubt it'll work with everyone.
The current system feels good enough and regarding future it's the best, in my opinion.

I doubt the future tracks will feature textures like the old ones.
Making texture with white lines will probably result in a giant mess.
(You can try it out on the track themself, WE & RO.)

Nice suggestion but personally it'll be a -1 from me.

 


