true it would be as the rest of the textures ,an optional choice.

and tbh its only 2 files that needs a line on them. not a astrophysics job to do .

however it could in fact free alot of objects up which is the main thought behind.

actually its also possible to do on rockingham, new WE & BLW.
so it would indeed be possible with the graphics update aswell.


EDIT:
it would also reduce forexample tirestacks as centerlines which often can cause insim note : Too Many objects.
i think theres more benefits with this than just meets the eye at first glance.

to show you how little it would take i made it jpeg images to show you !
*Note these can NOT be used ingame*.
but you can delete/remove(back it up) the files in dds and throw these into the pic folder. start up lfs and go to fe1x track and make it load. close lfs and restart it. LFS should then have the image files converted for you in dds folder.(scawen said years ago)

by using your own base files with a line. it would easily be rekognized as being TC files.
could be with one line only too. these just have 2.
