Completely agree, a LWB Duplato (or it's equivalent Boxer/Ducato etc.) would've probably justified the swap to RWD a bit better.

These vans IRL are all FWD from memory though, even the L4H3 config. I had an L3H3 for work in ~2018 that'd chirp 2nd gear if you tried.
