A few issues:
The replay specs aren't fully available, so reliably cutting them requires a lot of reverse engineering. You can only cut a replay once it's complete. There are various things that you need to know to put in the header that you won't know until the replay's finished. Disk space. My personal autosaved replays can easily go over 1-2GB per month when I'm reasonably active on the servers. I'm far from online 24/7, so the disk usage for 2 active servers would be huge. |
