Freight system suggestion

The idea has been asked for a few times. While it sounds interesting, it is pretty much incompatible with the current system. The current system has high value cargo, for cars with <1t capacity and then bulk cargo (1t-9t), like sand, gravel, etc.
Those are only worthy when using a big truck. The different values were chosen specifically to have reasonable profits with small transporters and big transporters.

You can see, if we just allow multiple high value cargos to be transported, it kinda messes up with the calculations we did. So the new system would have to be designed from ground up. And it also looks like sharing jobs between multiple players is also impossible.

Many things to consider ....
