Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

Hello all,

So here I was this morning, playing Scania Truck Driving Simulator when all of a sudden my wheel starts making these horrendous noises. So - I stop what I'm doing, and unplug it. I turn it around and I have noticed that at two spots it makes these 'scratching' noises. It sounds like not so friendly plastic parts are rubbing together. Has anybody ever dealt with this before?

I really don't want to call it in as this was a warranty replacement for my last wheel that broke. And I don't particularly want to open it up because the reason I'm using a DFGT is because I opened up my G25 and let's just say - it never got put back together. I feel as though the gears have chipped or something to that effect. I'm not sure - so I wanted to get some one else's opinion on the matter. Let me know what you think the problem is/what I should do.

EDIT: BTW I can only hear it when turning left, not right. And the faster the turn the more loud and painful the noise sounds. Maybe I should stop playing with it.
