How big is your powersupply? Maybe it hasn't got enough power to run the graphicscard.
What is your PC specs? (If you dunno, go to start, type in 'dxdiag' and press enter. Click Yes when promted. Copy the details from the open window, and press the tab called "Display(1)", and then copy that text as well, and paste it all here)
