Ahh but one may also argue that if one should watch the road in front and not need such a system in the first place.

Anyways, even if Volvo's system only works, say, 1 in 5000 times, it's better than the system not being there and causing 4999 other crashes

Also, what do you do when the not-Volvo behind ends up rear ending you?
