Crap? Maybe just not as good. Of course not having the best of the best will make any geek cry.

Something weird was going on with the launch of the 8150. For some reason the ASUS motherboard that was included in the press kit limited the performance of the processor, while other motherboards like the ones by Gigabyte and ASRock showed that the 8150 wasn't so bad in the benchmarks.

I just don't know what happened with the motherboard. HardwareHeaven used a different motherboard while most reputable testers used the press kit.

Something isn't right.

Anyway, I like AMD's processors. I like them because they are something different, I mean the module design is interesting though poorly optimized for Windows 7. I do hope that the single core performance improves with Piledriver, however.
