Well, the old finelist used to spell it out:

Quote:Note 1: There is a 10% leeway on speed limits. So, when the limit is 70mph, you can go 77mph without getting fined.

The current finelist doesn't specifically say that, because with the new system it is impossible to fine someone for speeding unless they're going faster than the leeway.
If "3 warnings then fine" was intended, we'd have implemented it in the new system.

If you used to do something other than what is said on the finelist, you shouldn't have.

 


