Rowan Atkinson responds to Hamilton-Massa crash

I'm not sure about the rules of F1.

IIRC, in most types of motor-racing (including sim-racing) if the car behind has any overlap to the car in-front before turn-in point then the car in-front has to leave enough room on the inside/outside for the driver behind to maintain overlap or pass without contact. Also, if there's still overlap at the exit of the corner, the car on the inside must allow enough room on the outside.

Does anyone know if F1 works like that? If so, not Hamilton's fault at all.
