It's perfectly rational. Gun related deaths aren't even one quarter of the deaths caused by obesity. You want to change a law change the laws about physical education. If you want to say its just people eating themselves to death it's not true, every commercial break there are at least two fast food commercials. People eat for all sorts of reasons including depression. Obesity affects more people than guns ever will. Most gun violence acts occur because of illegal narcotics and rarely affect good standing citizens. Proven fact.

Personally I find video games and responsible for most gun related accidents nowadays. We are glorifying killing/massacres. Look at te games we play. It used to be racing games or spaceship games or simple pong, now it's designed to attack kill people.

Firearms are a tool, used to obtain food and protect oneself from other creatures and humans. It is used for amazing things but sometimes are obtained by the wrong people and there is nothing we can ever do to stop that.

That fork picture proves exactly how unreasonable gun control is. Is basically forcing people to live in a bubble and do nothing. It also shows how narrow your view is. If you see it as irrational you are seeing it literally instead of ironically. It was originally meant as a joke decades ago, before anything of this sort ever happened.
