They are actually pretty easy to get. You should check the name of your Thinkpad, and search for the name of it + battery on ebay. Should be lots of them.

The cheapest one I have found it $60! I could save up a bit more and buy a better laptop lol. I'll try eBay. This one has the dock and windows 7! So can't complain for free.

Hmm, what model is your Thinkpad? You can see it on the bottom, written in a similar formation as this: XXXX-XXX
Also the name is probably written right next to one of the hinges.
