Maybe try removing the RAM sticks from your box and using a pencil eraser(new and clean) to clean the oxidation off the copper contacts on the sticks.
Rubbing hard wont damage the ram, just try not to catch any of the tiny resistors soldered above the copper contacts. -Stu/DD Edit: wee video showing what to do - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QoqrSlXd0nk |
