Well I think that having 1st gear in the 2nd gear slot is quite the difference to what most people are used to Just unessesary to do it that way. And to get reverse you have to shove the gear lever into your thigh

Reminds me of the Top Gear episode where May claims to have a superb Mercedes, and later at the test around a track, the prof. driver throws it into reverse instead of 1st.
