My GPU fan sometimes does this thing where it chops the fan speed when it's temperature is steady at the limit of the preprogrammed "overheat" value (which is around 70deg on mine I think).

In AMD Catalyst it doesn't recognize the change in fan speed though since it happens so quickly.

 


