RE: Potential Storm For UK
Hope your safe guys
I am going to edit the name of this thread and its going to become "Autumn Storms/Severe Weather Discussion" This time of year - The Atlantic is now roaring into life and the latest weather models now show another potent storm system pushing in next weekend. As with any of the forecasting here on i need to put a bit of perspective on this as the event is still nearly a week away, but after a day or two of quieter weather across the British Isles we will see a return to very unsettled Autumnal weather as the month draws to a close. We are now reaching a period of the year where airmass contrasts are at their most extreme. This in turn means there is more energy available for systems to power their way in from the West. At present there is a small risk of substantial rainfall across Southern England at the end of the week, followed by severe gales across much of the country over next weekend. |
