New data models in for next UK storm
Data readings on this storm It's sub-970mb, with a secondary at 144 hours. ECM has the low at 975mb at present This one is likely to track further north and potential to be more powerful then last night/today's storm. However still early days, looking at the 12Z GFS, UKMO and GEM there is fairly good agreement on a low entering the North Atlantic in a few days time, but low confidence in terms of track and intensity after that point. The Fax charts ran with it from T+120 hours but what about actual weather models?..too early yet. Windstorms often come along in clusters aswell. |
