RE: UDP Packets 'n' VPN
Hello,
I'm not sure which type of VPN do you have. But in the case you want to use the VPN for gaming , Skype or another stuff, you will need a SSTP - VPN Quote:(SSTP) is a form of VPN tunnel that provides a mechanism to transport PPP or L2TP traffic through an SSL 3.0 channel. SSL provides transport-level security with key-negotiation, encryption and traffic integrity checking. The use of SSL over TCP port 443 allows SSTP to pass through virtually all firewalls and proxy servers except for authenticated web proxies. Probably your vpn is not SSTP, which means that it has a firewall which blocks all the ports needed to make the connection between you and the LFS Master Server, therefore you shouldn't be able to load lfsworld or lfsworld remote neither ( I believe ) . If you can contact me via PM , i can provide you a UK SSTP VPN which I used too for gaming and which surely works with you. - Frozen |
