I know it's rather cliché but "if everyone had that mentality, nothing would be done". If there are around 10 players on server 2, just go with the flow and join it. If everyone is mindlessly waiting to join server 1, it's just useless. Take the opportunity and go to server 2. With a small map like Sydney, 10 people can still be quite enjoyable, and you won't get hit as much.
