Just stupid IMO.

That's like saying Gumball is stupid. Although there may not be as much money involved (that he may get from donations), there's a definite sense of accomplishment when you've achieved what you wanted.

It teaches you endurance, I can tell you that. Gumball was a big challenge and was a great achievement in the end.

So if someone has an achievement they want to get, instead calling them "stupid", you could give them your wishes for good luck/congratulations in the end.
