New layout to Kyoto map
I have been talking with someone that it could be nice to close abit of thj Oval part of. i know this is short

I don't understand the principle of closing a portion of the road. We've been asking for open layout for ages. Now that we have it, we would close it again? Doesn't make sense to me. Some people want to "farm" the Autobahn and i'm all on that. We even made a roundabout to slow them down at the junction and it's perfect as it is. Wanna have a leisurely stroll down the mountain? Go for it as it's already opened and free for you to go there. Unless somebody comes with positives points as to why we should close the layout, this gets a -1 from me. |

No thank you. We have already tried that once, which wasn't a succes. Also, why'd you block it off? That's making it about the same as just having one of the 'closed' layout configurations on anyway. Also people are free to drive whereever they'd like to, and there's plenty of other tracks on the TC servers. This is just on for two weeks every third month or so.

The middle part should be closed completly, so no one can can u turn any time they want. Also this closes down the turns for the SZ2 and Southpark (i could be wrong). That way, like in real life, the only way to turn around to get to any of these places is go around the roundabout, atm the roundabout is useless and it's main purpose is just to slow people down.
If you close the middle up, you stop people who have no eyesight from turning in or coming out either of the junctions and causing a massive crash. Yes it's their fault, but it happens too often and it's getting annoying. The next bit is people pulling off a u turn in a chase, forcing the cops to go all the way around, which ends up in the cop losing the chase. Again, like real life, this isn't possible on any autobahn or motorway, and in most countries the cops are free to drive on whatever side they have to (note key word: "have to" and not "want to"). Just my view. |

I made a layout before similar to what you described, sorta. I don't have an 'inside' on the AB, it's all flowing in one direction, no bottlenecks either. Not sure how I feel about the 4-way junction but the visibility is ok, not sure if people would actually stop there, despite the speedbumps. Well that's close to what I was on about but not completely, I don't want the AB to be one way, it should stay 2 way as it is now. Closed barriers all the way through and the roundabout is to be kept in the same spot so you can turn around there.

I like the current layout on Kyoto Oval, it adds its own aspects to chases. A fast U-turn legally on the Autobahn may aid the suspect enough which will separate the wheat from the chaff when comparing cops. It also lets the suspects to perform tactical manoeuvres. Wrong waying the Autobahn is strictly against the rules, one move is crucial.
