So anyone have opinions or suggestions on this?

You may suggest if I can find same or better components for better price somewhere, and I'll also be needing a screen for it

What size of a screen are you looking for? And I don't know much about computers, but that seems like a nice custom build.

Both the GPU and the CPU are old generation ones, you might wanna consider getting the new generation (Intel Core i5 4670K + GTX 750). You can also save some money in the PSU, I can recommend you the Seasonic S12II 520W (quality for cheap price).

I would also say there is better alternatives for the case you chose, but looking at it you probably chose it for the looks I assume.

I also don't know what kind of games you want to play and what the purpose is but with such a budget an AMD PC is always worth the consideration.

I'm with Malibu, you really should by current-gen hardware.

Get the i5 4670k, and either GTX 760 or the R9 270X (at least 2GB). Also, do yourself the favor of buying a 128GB SSD (Samsung 840 is good) and install your operating system and a few games on that drive, and keep the rest on the traditional hard drive.
Hard drives really should belong to the last centure, especially seeing the way the prices of SSD's are dropping.

And scrap the bloody DVD drive, what do you need it for? I haven't had one for 4 years now, never needed one. You can install Windows off a USB stick, or borrow a DVD drive from someone else that one time you need it to install Windows to your system.

I have a DVD drive to install old classic games so I can understand that he wants it, it's only 20-30 euros anyway . SSHD is a waste, either buy a big HDD or an HDD with SSD.

Completely agree with that. Get a small SSD for your OS and a normal cheap 2TB drive for storage.

Since Ive got a little server, I wouldn't need no additional HDD, but I guess you'd need one for videos or so.

Get something better than the GTX 660. Like others have said, the 760 and 270x are great choices, and I highly recommend 2GB or more of VRAM for modern games. The AMD cards are a better bang for your buck, but NVIDIA seems to have better drivers.

If you're really only looking to play games and aren't planning on having a super beefy multi-GPU setup then an i3 processor will be plenty powerful. If you go with an i3, you can spend the savings on a more noticeable upgrade, such as a SSD or better GPU. Chances are, you probably won't need the i5. But it's your money, you do what you want with it.

As for hard drives, I personally recommend the WD10EZEX. Cheap and real fast. I used to use mine as an OS drive (now I use a slower 500GB) and the whole system was fast with CL9 1600MHz RAM.
SSD's are one of the best upgrades you can currently do for your computer, if you can afford it, go for it!

I have no idea what the pricing is like for you, but here the Dell S2340m seems to be the best deal for a 1080p IPS monitor (if you're willing to give up HDMI and VESA mounts). They sell it for US$150 here, and it's the best monitor I've ever used.

Everyone has a different opinion on computers, I recommend looking on youtube at gaming videos featuring the graphics card and CPU you want and see if that's the kind of performance you'll be happy with.

Obviously it's just my opinion. I would say you are way better off with an HDD and then to save for an SSD, because it is never too late for an SSD. Especially for gaming an SSHD is just pointless.

Will be reconsidering the CPU and GPU models, and see what I'll do with the hard drive.

DVD drive I use every now and then for some games I have as DVD form, so I will definitely need that, and as Malibu said it's not expensive either.

Will also be looking into watercooled cases, costs a bit less than double as the current one, but we'll see.

After all other I'll also look into the PSU, for what I really need as a minimum, and a little over that. So if I'd upgrade to something more power consuming parts in the future, I won't have to worry about the PSU.

Thanks again, and then computer will be aimed to run some more demanding games like Watch Dogs, GTA, ETS, ATS, Assetto Corsa, BeamNG and so on with higher graphics.

The Seasonic S12II 520W is also there in the 620W version, and costs almost exactly the same And watercooling is really only something you would need to consider when you do extreme overclocking, better invest like 30 euros in a good CPU cooler for the same effect.

Ok, after a bit of discussion and thinking, I updated the OP to what I think is reasonable. The new generation i5 cores aren't really good, so I'll pass on that. The S12II again is modular which is worse, and having only Bronze class, I've decided to go for the G550 semi-modular Gold class. 90 cents cheaper than the previous with 2 years more guarantee.

The case was changed as well, due to shipping problems. Didn't go for a watercooled one, as it's not necessary. Cheaper, better guarantee and looks good. Also added some fans.

If you got money for spare and you are considering a retail closed-circuit water-cooling system for your CPU, spend the damn money on a better graphics card, you are going to appreciate that decision when you try to run Watch_Dogs. I have the 270X, 8GB ram and a Quad Core 3.2GHz CPU, and I can run it in Medium. - You need a rather good graphics card to run it at anything higher. R9 280X or above, or GTX 770 or above.

I'll probably gift the Watch Dogs to someone though, I see the GTX760 is enough, and I really don't have much more money to spare.. (5€ away from what I have right now!)

And I need the screen, so will need to spend my last paycheck from my previous workplace on that. (Probs around 200-300€)

I'll have a look if I can find enough good deal for a better GPU though.

The GTX760 should be able to run Watch Dogs on high at least. I got the 670 gtx which is said to be slightly faster and i am running most settings on ultra.

For the GTX770, I'd get a small advantage for power, but I'd need more form the PSU.. So I'll go for the GTX760.
