Gymkhana 7
It has arrived guys, pretty cool to watch, however my opinions on Block don't change.

RE: Gymkhana 7
I don't understand what's so special anyone given this car could do what he did... and making the car AWD just shows Ken Block can't really drift or drive.
Really disappointed, I was hoping for a manhandled American muscle not some stupid AWD powersliding. I did chuckle at the Bronco police chase, pretty sure that was an OJ reference. |

RE: Gymkhana 7
I will start to appreciate his videos as soon as he manages to do this in real traffic or with a RWD...

RE: Gymkhana 7
It's all purely casual entertainment after all, I think he's doing these mostly because he wants to, like some of those rich people who direct crappy obscure art films with hilariously oversized budgets even though nobody watches them.
Must appreciate the effort his team has put into building that car though. E: Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention. Doing that in real public traffic would be incredibly dumb. |

RE: Gymkhana 7
Honestly, diapointing and found it boring. Only gymkhana I found entertaining was the other one he did in a city. I dont understand how he has so many fans, his time spent in WRC for the backing he has was disappointing, for example hiting something on the very first corner of the very first stage the last time he competed, but props to him for getting such a big following and budget.

Yeah his driving was poor in many stages, maybe he is doing this to regain a reputation? |

RE: Gymkhana 7
A few things I'll input here.
1) Practice skids everywhere. 2) Constantly throwing in too deep and having to let the front end save him. 3) AWD Drifting isn't something that requires much talent. 4) Block can't actually drift RWD cars that well, but he can't drive rally cars that well either (see above)-this leads me to suspect that the only way he's publicized still is by knowing somebody behind the branding at hoonigan, who then promoted this stuff and got sponsors on board. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if GoPro and Monster pay for most of his things...lucky sod. 5) The intro was too long, and I honestly didn't give much of a *Removed* for the video, I'd say 2/3 were the peak, now it's just being played out... |

RE: Gymkhana 7
Since everybody is bashing on this video, i'll do the contrary because:
1) I found it highly entertaining. 2) Its bitchin' to see an highly souped-up 65' Mustang being thrown on the streets like that. 3) I would pay a humungus amount of money to be able to do the same. 4) I'm pretty sure i wouldn't even be able to do half of what he did. Let's put it all this way: Y'all are jealous of him. |

When I was young I liked Block and I was impressed by what he is doing, but after some years I figured out he is not as good as I thought. So I have no reason to be jealous at him lol. |
