5:07:08 - The countdown had initiated to bust the suspect and he pitted straight away, thus auto busting him. He then disconnected straight away, giving him a suggested fine where I wanted to give him a high fine (due to the chase itself).

This user did indeed pit before the timer has counted him as busted. He then disconnects immediately after. He will receive a warning not to pit or disconnect until you have been busted and fined when in a chase.
