This isn't permanent by the way, there appears to have been some confusion as to whether it was.

This is not the best idea in my opinion. Most people now will go to westhill because there are more people there. Normal tracks will be empty. Kind of unfair for us who like to keep switching tracks every couple of weeks. Fair if it stays in the rotation and maybe give it 1-2 weeks in the schedule. What do you think?

Just for your information, the poll clearly indicates that the majority prefer keeping it within the schedule.

ppl go where they prefer going. obviously the poll isnt representative. if the majority really prefers SO atm, server one would be full and not WE.
but may aswell be the fact that alot dislike SO, altho the recent poll showed else. that obviously was also not representative.

Of course the poll is representative. It's just not aimed at this specific situation.
We don't know the reasoning behind people's choice in the poll.
Also, the poll answers are rather limited.

I'd love to see how South City looks with a new update like Westhill's, it will be an urban heaven for us as cruisers, and a lot less open than Westhill so less suspects being able to get away from cops easily.

Ok, so despite the poll results saying "Only on normal rotation" has a majority of the votes (currently 68.89%) why hasn't the map changed? Don't make a poll if you are not going to take any consideration of the results. May as well be an autocratic ran community.

Bit confused here, surely just change the map already?

I understand that the map has changed on server 2, however it's clearly obvious not as many people join there. This may be due to lacking awareness of the other server? I'm not sure, but I'm sure most people would like to play the other maps with a lot of people which can only be done if both servers are on the same map... Like it used to be.

Also, Kyoto isn't on yet because I don't think the roads have been mapped.

Sonic, south city was on both servers a week ago or so, everyone is aware of which track is being run on server one. If people decide to join server two (most of the times the server which is empty - in normal circumstances) is because of westhill. They want to play on westhill.

A server without players isnt a server. Players want westhill, westhill runs.

Theres no need to force players to play on tracks they've played for years if theres a new one which they want to drive on.

So, are you telling me it's been West Hill, then South City for a week, and then West Hill again? That doesn't seem like normal rotation.

My mistake BP, I thought a TC had made the poll. Then again, I think a thread which has clearly came to great importance should be taken into consideration by TC, listening to the community is not a TC role is it not?

So what you're saying is that if TC go back to the way it was with normal track rotation on both servers, the servers will automatically be empty? Because that would be the biggest load of BS ever; TC is still a thriving community and wouldn't just drop to an all-time low if they stop running Westhill until the next WE rotation.

Westhill gave a bit of life in this dead game, if the only light at the end of the tunnel is switched off. The hope will be none.

But what I'm saying is that a week ago, when the servers were both on Sydney (if they ever were) at least on of the servers was full, proving that TC still would be full up if it was normal track rotation. Your point of everyone moving over to server 2 also proves this as if EVERYONE moved, then surely everyone would have had to be connected.

Well,

At the end its the players choice. Play if you like what you have, otherwise wait for the next combination.

At the end of the day all this community does is for free, to give you a good time and thats what everyone should start to understand instead of saying whats wrong, say what they do well, that might help.

If you can do it better, go ahead I would say.

Lets put it this way, currently both servers are offering a choice between Westhill or South City, the most popular for the moment is Westhill therefore I see no reason as to why it shouldn't stay for a while.

Also as BP said, i'm fairly certain that the older tracks are being updated properly and therefore are not ready to be used (I'm not really up to date so don't quote me on that).
