How to automate many things in LFS
Hello all,
I want to share how to make the LFS-setup which i am using too, because it automated many things, and it's simply nice 1. Download LFSLazy (https://dl.dropbox.com/s/hrrx1txctwaqhxw/LFSLazy.exe) (Credits: DANIEL-CRO) 2. Download the official Siren Pack ( http://city-driving.co.uk/downloads/sire...mended.rar) (Credits: Degats) 3. Download the official Road Textures ( http://city-driving.co.uk/downloads/road.rar) (Credits: Degats) 4. Download the official "LED" Lights ( http://city-driving.co.uk/downloads/LED%20Lights.rar) (Credits: Degats) 4. Download Live For Speed (https://www.lfs.net/downloads) (Credits: Scawen Roberts, Victor van Vlaardingen and Eric Bailey) 5. Install LFS 6. Install the downloaded things (exclude LFSLazy) 7. Edit data\scripts\autoexec.lfs and add this: Code: /log msg.txt This makes a log of the chat and it let LFSLazy start & connect automatically by the start of LFS. 8. Download StartLFS.bat and change it to your needs (link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/w3omkqcltbdsnq...bat?dl=1). Then place it into the LFS install directory. Open LFS with backup.bat, not with LFS.exe! Backup.bat can open additional software for LFS, like joy.exe for auto-cancelling turn signals. And it works with both non-Steam LFS and Steam-enabled LFS. And it makes a back-up of the chat log to the folder msg\(date)\(time). 9. Optional: Download a program for auto-cancelling turn signals: (https://www.lfsforum.net/attachment.php?...1270662556) and set it up to your needs, place the files in the directory turnsig_v03 inside your LFS folder and modify StartLFS.bat (see for the instructions the inside of the file). 10. Start LFS, and set LFSLazy and LFS to your needs. Happy playing! Regards, CruiseLover (i-love-cruise) |
