Not everyone actually uses the shifter of their G27, so that's why I think logitech most likely will be selling the G29 shifter separately from the wheel and pedals. In that case people who actually want the shifter are able to buy it as well. Also, most likely the new G29's price tag will be cheaper, as the shifter isn't included in the package.

Ive read somewhere the price tag of the G29 is €189.-

I really wish someone would make a racing wheel which had indicator stalks on it, even though it's probably not in the slightest useful for, say, console games, it would be a cool little feature to have for PC games.

I'm sure there would be a way to make one yourself if you were good with that sort of stuff though I guess, kind of making it even less viable to put standard on a controller.

£131.68, I would buy that, depending on how much the gear shifter would cost. It wouldn't be worth the money for me since i got my G27 for £150

I bought a G27, BECAUSE of the shifter and clutch. What's the point of buying a wheel then not using half the equipment that comes with it? Why not just buy a Driving Force GT? Tongue

I never found any diference between g27 and g29... hope to see diferent shifter , but dont think it..

I hope the shifter is overhauled!
But this is still nothing official as they said lower on the website.
Also it's kinda stupid I think that its again more like a G27 with extra buttons and no shifter.
But lets hope this time the shifter has the good old H-shifter and sequentional and buttons on it for some extra binds Biggrin

The springs' covers seem to be black instead of red.

Well it's mixed up, people say it isn't, but the Amazon description said it is compatible, as I showed on my post:
