cheers, worked out. my fear was just that if it doesnt detect it, i'd need to reinstall 7, upgrade to 10 again, just to get the key... but its activated now. got a msdn(aa) version aswell. besides that, all windows dvds have all versions selectable when removing the /sources/ei.cfg

Just had the problem, that my DVD-Drive was not detected, found a way to solve this, just in case it happens to anyone else

Installed it on my laptop that i barely use to check it out and with the classic shell (http://www.classicshell.net/) i do like it.

I do despise that they have taken a lot of customizing options away, so you have to resort to the registry a lot. Also the clean design makes it hard to know where actual clickable buttons are.

Apart from that i think i can get used it, no other choice really anyway.

Indeed. Things that have only been for geeks before, like registry- or policy entries have now become normal options for regular users.

I'm still looking for a way to change a filetype icon *without* changing the associated program. Now I have like 20 icons on the desktop that look absolutely the same, but 19 of them are text files and only 1 is the actual text editor program.
All the text files now have the icon from the text editor. How stupid is that?

Yeah i've had a few of those aswell.

Also for everyone that wants keep using their ps3/ps4 controller. Use this little tool:

Unless "better ds3" or "motionjoy" it will work. It's also not riddled with spyware in case of motionjoy.
