Should've posted this a few weeks ago.
Currently helping a friend fix this car. take everything you know about fixing cars and toss it out the window. its the reverse of backwards and backwards again, with a hint of upside down. parts have to be shipped from across the world so be careful with them too. 1986 with the PRV V6, has euro lights swapped in. ![]() |

If you can get ahold of some original Mazda3/5 rims the car would be better.
![]() Add that to an OEM spoiler in the back and you'll be all set. (See example) ![]() |

Both were high sellers at the time and the Lacetti failed to deliver anything particularly interesting. All that made the resale value plunge dramatically. On the positive note, it makes for a dirt-cheap car with low-maintenance and parts are easy to find when needed. Good buy Sonic. Even if it's ugly, old, beat up and crappy, it drives and will offer you miles and miles of fun! |

RE: Show us your ride!
Well I found my next project. It's either an 82 or 83 I can't remember which year the color was available. But it's a 1 year only color Foret Green Metallic. A color which I only have seen in brochures and now a junkyard.
It is rust free and simply needs a core support and probably engine work but I plan on building a VR6 with my father. ![]() He also has these two in the same color which I may save with it to either use for parts or make a second car to sell. I think there were five Forest Green Metallics! ![]() ![]() |

So as I said in the previous post, I bought a Rover 620Ti on the first of September. I've now done about a 1000km and it feels very good so far.
I'm not gonna bother taking my own pictures because the ones from the dealership I bought the car from are very detailed ![]() And this is pretty much all there will be, because I'm not going to do any mods to this car. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Ahh the Rover! My dad had a 216 SLi which was great. Does that model come with power assisted steering? It seems to be in great condition, not a fan of Rovers but they do amaze me lol.

Yeah, since the car is derived directly from the Honda Accord it has the same speed-sensitive power steering system as well. The only difference mechanical-wise is the engine and transmission which are original Rover kit. Every feature seems to be perfectly functional in this one, including all the power windows&sunroof, the AC and the antilock brakes. Haven't tested the airbags yet. ![]() |
