Got lots of Goodies installed this weekend. Car feels 10x better with the massive sway bars! Headlights will be changing to the E-Golf spec ones next week, after I buy and replace my motor mounts. Turns out they both failed because stage two has wayyyy to much torque/power for the stock lol

We will fix my Corolla, as it only got 2 defects in The MOT inspection. Left Rear shock absorber rubber thingie broken, cant be the shock as they were changed recently.) and one rust issue on the right rear seatbelt mount.






I know its dirty, but i cant be arsed to wash it in this shit weather we have.

Well dress me in a gown and call me Ingrid. I've gone for the "large swedish car" option so many on this forum seem to favour.

This is indeed a '99 Saab 9-5 2.3t SE. 100% stock except for a Mitsubishi TD04 turbocharger from the Aero model, which is essential because the Garrett T17 these come with from the factory are prone to failure and it had actually failed on this one, hence the replacement.

No problems other than a known fault with the alarm unit ("Service theft alarm"-text in the SID) which I already fixed by soldering new batteries and three new condensators inside the unit. This was a 20€ fix and was done in an afternoon.

Mind the wonky wiper blade in the picture though, they do work fine.

But here's an undercarriage shot with all the fancy new parts and at the gas station. Sadly we sell E85 and are government mandated to have E10 fuel everywhere. What lame BS.

Yeah it's ashame I'd have to swap to a GTI bumper to use it.

However I'm hearing rumors the Alltrack will be headed stateside. So I may stop spending money on the Golf for now and start stockpiling for the Alltrack. I have always always always wanted an AWD Golf/Jetta wagon. It's slated for a 2017 release from what I'm told if we are in fact getting it.
