I almost bought an EP3 Type R but the shifter was just too awkwardly placed for me. Great handling cars though.

Once you get used to the shifters position, it actually starts to make more sense. It minimizes the movement of your hand when in need to shift, therefore making shifts between steering quicker, or atleast that's what I think honda has been aiming for.
