Safety Rating
hey Admins,
have as a little idea how to go the safer on TC makes. safety rating must be connected in the insim of chases, two, med, and cruising. Start ist 100% safety rating. Cruises : rammed the faster is the more is withdrawn, so you should be careful where you breaks forth. the one who caused the accident gets deducted more. the less safety rating you have the more cars can not be more to go.. the exact percentage depends on the insim setting. chase: cop vs suspect no lost safety rating. but should ram the suspect another player or the cop they lose safety rating. tow/med : join action no lost safety rating. think that the server or the cruise makes safer and you must to watch how you drive and where. sorry for my english titan |

RE: Safety Rating
How do you determine who caused the accident? There is no real way. We don't want "victims" to be penalised - it would be unfair.

RE: Safety Rating
BP, If a non-victim is hit, he is not often getting hits a lot. The causer is more likely to get more hits to different people that the person he has just hit. This is how it works. I think this is still kind of unneeded thing. -1

Think this sums it up nicely: http://insim.city-driving.co.uk/stats.php?type=crashers

RE: Safety Rating
for people who have your car under control is not a problem,
for the people who think that can go as they want and come up with an excuse of it,the ram anyway constantly. exactly for such people is the safety rating. I do not know how to set the insim whether one angle determined or do so may. tweaking you have to already make |

Did you make the idea or did you steal it from RC?

RE: Safety Rating
Skoda is an insinuation?? I have spoken with about rc!!!
it should be made a copy here.. the system is just fine what TC makes it their cause! I also have something not necessary! I feel only on the bag that I'm 5 minutes on the server and get 3 rams! and I see in the chat every 5 sec sorry sorry sorry. Do you understand that Skoda? if you do not believe the matter speak to me with PVL and george! |

RE: Safety Rating
How would it know who caused the crash? Loads of racing servers use this insim called Airio, Airio uses a safety rating system but even if you are crashed it says that you have caused the crash and you lose rating. Airio has been around for ages and plenty of people have tried to make it better but it still doesn't work for the safety rating. Also it would be much easier to make it for a racing server because there aren't any people towing or any chases in a racing environment.

RE: Safety Rating
It works very easy to be honest. It doesnt really matter who caused the
crash, both cars lose SR if touching, may be more if on higher speed. At the end of the day it will hurt those who drive careless only, people taking care about other cars will just lose a bit SR and earn it back easy before it effects them. Just an example how it could be on TC: People may start with 50 SR points, touching any car with 50kmh+ will cost 1 point, 100kmh+ 2 points and 200kmh+ 4 points. You earn 1 SR point for each 5 km driven ( set it to whatever works best). Then set the SR points needed to be allowed to drive the cars, like: UF1 free, XFG+XRG 15, TBO+LX4 20, LRF 25, XFR+UFR 30, GTR 40. You will find out that is doesnt hurt careful drivers at all if some SR is lost because it will be earned back before they get punished. But those involved in crashes a lot will be forced to use slower cars sooner or later. Of course cops and suspect in the SAME chase will not lose SR if touching each other, still if getting contact with other cars. Just tried to show the basic model which works better than expected on RC since years, greetings P V L. |

RE: Safety Rating
It still doesn't say who's the victim. I don't want someone touching my car because it's his fault and then I get to lose safety rating.
We're good with the compensation & complain thingy when a accident is caused. |

RE: Safety Rating
This system is no good. If you're high-speed cruising say in an FXO and both of you touch for a tad second you can loose 20-25% for no reason. This is why I'm limited to the UF1 in [RC], seems to take forever to get it back up.

Players can drive to have no problem,
it is about the people who drive carelessly on the server. and also provides the admins the insim a! |

RE: Safety Rating
The bottom line is, a safety rating on a cruise server is impossible to implement fairly.
If you're unlucky and keep getting hit by people driving on the wrong side or people who pull out of junctions into you, your safety rating will take a battering because the ONLY way to implement a safety rating system on a cruise server is to impose the same penalty on both parties. It simply doesn't work in practice. |

I agree with Pete, it wouldn't be an accurate reflection.
