AMD R9 390 - Curiosity
Hello guys,
I have just been looking around my hardware with CPU-Z and I found that according to CPU-Z my card has 4095MB of VRAM. But in CNext (AMD Radeon Crimson Driver), it says I have 8192MB of VRAM. There are now 2 variants of the R9 390, a 4GB Version and an 8GB Version. I was sent an 8GB Version as a replacement to the 8GB Version that died at Christmas. Could someone tell me what's going on please? Thanks in advance! Spoiler (Click to View) Edit: Placed an incorrect shot. |

RE: AMD R9 390 - Curiosity
If its dual gpu, it will report double but only half is usable by the os.
Either that or CCC is showing you your actual system memory (not vram) |

RE: AMD R9 390 - Curiosity
CPU-z tends to get information wrong. I wouldn't go by that. I think there is a GPU-z that is more accurate for gpus.
