Anyone got recommendations for my next ride? It needs to be safe, reliable, come with engines that will do at least 35 mpg, be in an insurance group below group 18 and be enjoyable to drive. My budget is going to be around £4000.

Fun to drive? Check.
Safe? Euro NCAP 4 star.
Reliable? Not bad actually.

You can buy one for about £2-3k these days.

Thanks McG. I could probably afford the 05+ model which has 5 star safety, is around 40mpg and offers some very low insurance groups.
