Statement regarding our new funding strategy.

Overall it's great to see the community coming together over this. Yes, people have questions and some others are maybe a little optimistic in their thinking, but it's very encouraging to see a fairly positive discussion on the subject.

That's exactly what this change seems to be for; to allow everyone to help, regardless of their financial situation and/or willingness to donate actual cash.

Fully agree with Viper and many others. Elmo, Pete and Chuck can't pay for everything.

Going to be damn straight on this, being a member of an affiliated team plays a big part (At least for me it does). I think that being affiliated with [TC], we simply have to stick up for each other and assist [TC] and their service in any way we can.

I actually would like to take this moment to thank [TC] for giving us all a laid back experience.

I will end up donating later on this month after I pay for my new PC. Looking for many more years of this Premium service!

Affiliate teams are not asked to pay anything. Everything we have ever offered has been free to use. We'd like to keep it that way.

I can't think of anything in my day to day life which has provided better value than the TV Servers. As for most people, my LFS licence could pretty much be called a TC Licence. I've paid £36 for an S3 licence just to sit on the TV Servers, and not a single penny of that payment goes anywhere near TC. You're all happy to buy S2/3, but a voluntary donation comes along and some of you are up in arms like Pete has the cold barrel of a Glock pressed up against your spine.

This has been more than a game to almost all of us. We're a TC Community, we've all made friends, some of which will be life long. I know a few of you even meet up in real life, probably to kiss or something. It's been a select few people who've been mostly supporting the servers for the past few years now, and that's not exactly fair on them. All we're asking is that a you share the load, either by donating a few of your pennies to the cause (seriously, cook your own dinner for once instead of eating out and the money you'll save would go a long way, lazy fatties) or if you don't want to or have the money to donate, have some adverts sprinkled on your screen to generate funding for us.

All the admins are volunteers. We aren't getting paid to have a good time. We aren't paid to put up with your bullshit. We aren't paid to separate crying children and put them in the naughty corner. None of us will see any of this money, it'll be used for continuing to host the servers, services and the community that so many friendships grew and flourished from. Without funding, these servers would simply have to cease operations, and the community we've all grown to know and love would dissipate. Friendships of old and new would probably be lost, and new ones never even found.

Like most of you, I'm proud to be a part of this community and I hope you'll help it remain for years to come.

Oh, and nobody flips their shit about a crappy Forza game being £80 for the ultimate package.

Same with Nick's comments,We were not Payed to have fun or something,We pay for the server to keep it up and makes us all have fun and keep meeting the friends in the server,i want to donate but in my country we dont use paypal often,lfs and TC really changes me alot,from a selfish person to now that trying to be an friendly person,if you dont pay much for the server,unless everyone dont cares about quality of the server then you dont have to pay much,but it is impossible,every things start from the faith you put in the game and the server,but when you did it longer,you will soon loose the faith of the game and trying to find a new games to play,like when the start when you making the servers,you keep the server online pretty well and with best quality,but when after,you loose some faith in the server and relized you can't pay everything for keep the server with best quality,and you pay and pay and pay,you loose the money quick and need some donate to keep the server online and with the quality like the start,and same with TC servers,all the admins cant pay all for it,this server has being 10 years,maybe is the longest server in LFS history,i am proud of being the player in this game and server,and i am finding the way to pay to donate to keep my favorite server as long as possible,i was keep on following TC on 2013,even early then i play lfs,all thing starts from an video of this server,i hope this server can go on and live until lfs shut it down,and live for an other 10 years.

LFS: S1+S2+S3 = 36 GBP + TC Server Supporter 15 GBP = 51 GBP = LFS Ultimate Edition. I am true love lfs game and best tc server stay long life won't lose the server.

Also i paid LFS S3 (We know S3 crap only new one track but scawen keep working more content.) but i like help to support developer game.

Guys don't worry about your money if you love LFS, TC server and nice meet online of friends!

Can't add really anything here, I know the costs cam get very high with this much servers and services, so I felt I could donate a very small amount for the fun and enjoyment I've had. I hadn't been able to donate earlier for technical and financial problems, but I've done it now and will surely do it again too.

I don't see it a bad idea for the Affiliate teams to tribute x amount of donations for TC every now and then.

TC Should make purchasable content but nothing that gives us advantage over other players. Maybe an application on the AppStore for COPS/MEDS etc.. And something like being able to display the insim/hud on your phone/ipad. I mean you guys can come up with better ideas. I'd definitely buy all this to show support.

Are you on about the TC App that Pete made? I found it useful but iirc, he never really said why he stopped developement of it.
