Slower winch (Read for what I mean)
Hey,
Just an idea, like when cops deploy their speedtraps, they have to wait for it to deploy and calibrate before it's actually setup. So for MED/RES/TOWs, when they go to use their winch, instead of it winching straight away, you have to wait for it to roll out before winching, if you get what I mean? |

When faster clean the road, safer will be for others.

RE: Slower winch (Read for what I mean)
People already ignore cautions and sirens. Making it slower just makes the chances of having another crash because of the road being blocked way bigger.
Fast and easy, road clear and we can move on. If you want it to take longer, simply dont use the winch and tow like we've been doing for years. |

At first I really liked the idea, but after reading what Frozen said I'll have to agree with him.

RE: Slower winch (Read for what I mean)
That is a fiddly thing. It's not just the time factor, it's also that the cars are moving. The winch only works when both cars are stationary within a defined range. The longer the whole procedure takes, the more likely it is, that either of the cars gets moved. E.g. the towed car could be moved by somebody, while somebody else is trying to winch, as it's not obvious to them whats going on.
