RE: LightsOut
Members which are still in team will do they best to keep it alive. We've made an event which will repeat every saturday. There will be mostly races and if the saturday is in holiday period, you can win special prize.

RE: LightsOut
What's the point of even starting a team if you're going to abandon it at the very first opportunity.

RE: LightsOut
I left the team for the best of it, I wanted this team to stay alive, but i wasn't good at it, so I chose to leave the team for the benefit of it, and put someone better in my spot, I never expected many members to leave after me.
The team was off to an amazing start, but issues started to arise later on which i didn't know how to solve. I chose to leave for the teams benefit and put someone better in my spot which is now Owl, he has a lot more experience than I do when it comes to running a team. PDC didn't end well but people learn from their mistakes, and I think Owl has learned, and is going to Bring Lo back better than ever. Cheers, GOOMB |

RE: LightsOut
You leaving only makes matters worse to be honest, if I were you I would have stayed. Forget about those who leave the team and carry on as you would.

RE: LightsOut
I agree with Nismo, you should continue what you started, all you did was leave as soon as it became a 'little' bit difficult.
Having experience with leadership and communication with other teams is key, from time to time, other teams may give little hands to each other here and there . You could have asked experienced leaders from any team for advice and I'm sure they wouldn't mind guiding you in the right direction. Leaving the team just shows that you weren't determined enough to succeed as a leader. Needless to say, I am disappointed with the outcome, I though we finally got a team that actually looks very decent with a steady chassis, clearly not. Good luck! |

RE: LightsOut
I don't think it's any outsiders business to judge decisions such as this, whether a member or a leader. If you fall into the mindset of leaving, there's no point in questioning the validity of the choice.

If he's posted a public thread which was clearly designed to give information about his team, and to follow progress, it is hardly surprising why we want to query why he's left it after only a few months and after only a few weeks of rebranding. So; disagree. That said, thanks for the response, GOOMB. Bit of a shame though. |

RE: LightsOut
Still don't see a problem, people are giving their opinions of this team, in a non-malicious way from what I can tell. I don't need to tell you that this is a forum, where these opinions are actually welcome. Thread would be a bit boring with endless chains of "good luck" anyway.

It's just pointless to say such things except if you're trying to be offensive on purpose. But this tangent is just as pointless so move along.
Best wishes to all remaining members, I'm sure you can consolidate the team once more. |

RE: LightsOut
I'm a big part this decision so I thought I'd chime in a bit. I'm sorry if this was supposed to be "private" information but it may shed a light to the reason why so many members left at the same time.
Before 965 became LO, there was a lot of issues with the team. Management recruitment lots of members without really looking at them. This caused the team to almost disintegrate itself. That's when Huski and GOOMB approached me for help. With some good discussion, they were able to kick start the team and give them a new name and a chance to thrive. Members were kicked, people left. LO was on a good path. Unfortunately, both Huski and GOOMB found out that even with a somewhat successful team the job would be tough and that it was a little bit more than what they bargained for. As the leader of SO I understand that the job is much more tougher than what people expect. I spoke with both of them and even with some insisting and great words of advice, they both decided to leave the team and give leadership to people that want LO to continue on a good path. Again unfortunately this meant that some other members left as well, probably fearing the worst for their team. I am sure that Owl will do a great job of rebuilding this team but it will be difficult. Tough times are ahead but if you soldier on, you'll get out of that much more stronger. I'm not really gonna comment on why 3 LO members managed to get into SO recruitment but let's just say that they were good members in the beginning and as I've said multiple times I'm the guy that likes to give chances to people |

RE: LightsOut
A team is better off when they have a leader that is committed to the team's success. Perhaps this is a step in the right direction.

RE: LightsOut
At the end of the day, I guess it's safe to say that the majority of teams will go through rough patches here and there. It's a shame to see all of this happen, but good luck to your team and I hope it all works out in the end.
