Not as clean as Colas or Jappes, and some people might say it belongs to junkyard and is total trash, but it still brings smile to my face everytime i start the engine and go have a ride, and i just love it ! And one "artistic" too from my front yard Spoiler (Click to View) |

RE: Show us your ride!
Bought another Clio This time a DCI with a mighty 65HP, only £30 a year tax and cheap insurance with a 600 mile range from only £40 diesel. It has auto lights, auto wipers and a the seats are really comfy and leather, never seen these seats in a Clio before, it also gets silly sideways in the wet and is good fun to chuck about and not care about like I do with the 182.
The 182 is already in the body shop but I don't know when it will be done. |

Nice car Jimmy! thinking about buying one of these, a sedan ofc. but heard multiple people talk that this generation isn't reliable and just needs servicing too much, is that right?

RE: Show us your ride!
well, the facelift is the last thing on my list any particular reason for the facelift except the good looks?
what I'm looking for, is a comfy ride during long trips (>150 KMs) and good stability on the road despite high speeds (>130 KMPH). |

RE: Show us your ride!
What engine you are looking at specificity?
On preface body its usual that rear subframe with mounts break off the actual body, definitely check that before buying, I would also not recommend 100 kW 2.0D. Starting off with crankshafts that tend to break in half, faulty serpentine belt tensioners, and injectors (well its a problem on every diesel engine) |

RE: Show us your ride!
I have never owned a BMW, but I have worked on them. When I say this, keep in mind that I am in the USA so it may differ....
but GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY, they are nice cars but parts are so expensive and butt destroying. Working on them is also weird... I changed a God forsaken headlight bulb in a 2009 325i (I think) and the whole damn front end had to come off the car... I didn't understand... I also needed torx bits created by aliens to work on it, but, I can not argue that they are put together extremely well... I don't know if I like them...but I think they hate me. Oh, and different car, but it took me an hour to find the air filter on a 2009 VW rabbit. |

RE: Show us your ride!
My brother owns a 3 series from 1999 and i on a mondeo we have had simulair problems with our cars but on the bmw the parts are much more expensive and complicated to replace.
But i gotta say the BMW does look a lot cooler haha! But you have to pay the price for it. |

RE: Show us your ride!
What? My experience is that old bmws are cheapest and easiest ones to repair. For example, my old mazda and my gfs honda has a lot more expensive parts and they are much harder to change, and you probably wont find anything from internet about them. Theres probably guide to change every small thing in bmws at the internet, and if theres not, the community is so big and helpful that someone will write you one if asked nicely. And thats why i like bmws

RE: Show us your ride!
E46 parts are expensive if you buy new. My uncle has a facelift 330D and can not complain! Has 340.000km on it and requires rather little maintenance. He has mostly fixed stuff he broke himself and changed Xenon lights and brake/chassis parts.
