Do you have a passion for ~~boring~~ VW's Blade? I mean, I know that German cars over there are slightly looked upon differently than German cars over here. Over here its "just" another VW.

I mean no offense, I'm just curious what you see in these cars.

Wheels are scuffed + chipped (sadly, partly due to me but mainly because they were £100 for all four and brand new tyres), going to be getting new ones along with a full cat back exhaust system later in the year. Its crazy, all I wanted to do was change the steelies (steel wheels/original wheels) for an alright set of alloy wheels and now its becoming a Frankenstein after its heart transplant.

People may take pot shots at the Corsa but damn, even as it is the car is so much fun in bends.

P.S. Full story on the wheels; id hazard a guess they've been stolen multiple times as they have more than 5/6 coats of paint from bright orange to bright green and at least 2 layers of black paint below and between the aforementioned colours.

Took my Evo to a painter recently as I started noticing rust on the rear wheel arches after winter, and well... It was worse than expected, thanks to poor rust-repair skills of a previous owner.

Yep! I hope it is.... Haven't heard of the car for a while again. I'm supposed to get it back by Wednesday, but we'll see..

The painter did say he'll take care of some parts that show signs of rusting, as in cleaning painting and protecting properly. So should be all sorted after this episode, and I can get back to tuning parts Biggrin

Of course they are "just" another VW over there. In the USA we could see a Chevy and say, "just" another Chevy. Over there you may not see Chevrolets as much, or Ford, Dodge, etc.

I think VW's are cool....but I see a big mess of torx head bolts and weird ass thermostat housing positions and such.

It was mostly created by gamers for gamers but it's slowly creeping towards other spheres. I've seen some people offering Discord servers as Patreon rewards, some forums move to Discord instead. I guess people love the old mIRC vibe and the fact that it's pretty much instant conversation.

We'll see where that goes.
