Logitech Driving Force GT Calibration
So lately, i bought my friend's old Logitech DFGT and it has been working perfectly for the years it has been in active use. It also worked on my usage for a while, until it misscalibrated itself and i couldn't find the reason neither the fix in the web.
It calibrates so it is physically offcentered about +45 degrees, but in the Logitech software (trust me, i have the right one) it is centered. I have reinstalled the drivers, after properly cleaning them from my pc first. Didn't work at all. I also tried to manually calibrate it by turning its drivers off from device management. Also didn't work. So i hope that someone who has some experience with this specific era of Logitech wheels could assist me somehow. I'm very new to these devices so thought i might ask here for help. Thanks in advance! |

RE: Logitech Driving Force GT Calibration
This may sound silly, but have you used a different USB port? Try plugging it in when Windows is booted.

RE: Logitech Driving Force GT Calibration
Yes, try what Kyle has suggested.
Also, what happens if you full turn to both sides? (full left then full right) |

RE: Logitech Driving Force GT Calibration
I tried your suggestions, didnt really change, but somehow it even got worse.
See the video below Also when it turns fully to left it makes a wierd clacking sound in the end and when turned to the right side it rumbles. |

RE: Logitech Driving Force GT Calibration
When someone has calibration issues its usually the optical encoder, that little thing is fragile and can literaly get split in half during some rly hard pushing your luck ffb vibrations. There are people who fixed their wheel who couldnt even start calibrating just by finding out their optical encoder is a bust(dust or broken piece etc.), usually it happens when wheel gets too strong force feedback to the point the wheel "jumps". Lets hope its optical encoder and nothing more complicated.
