I've seen the message stays there until I click dismiss.

An option in Preferences to have an option to either leave the message as it is currently and an option to hide the message automatically after a certain time, which I was thinking 10 seconds should do.

Yes, better to make it auto disappearing after couple of seconds
I find it really annoying and takes huge place on screen causes distraction.
It should have been smaller and placed somewhere else along the edges.
I'm all with your idea..

I can agree one that. An idea i thought about was two buttons beside “dismiss” which would;

Never show the rental price notification for that particular car again

&

Never show the rental price notification for all cars again


Or maybe like you said a preference option might be easier.

I know it pops up every time (which is relevant to this suggestion), but did you know you can cancel it so you don't see it? You don't have to drive with it on your screen.

A preference option would be nice, either to just not show it at all or to be able to set a timer for it.

Yes thats the issue, it kept on showing until i hit dismiss
