Price update for cars added before the car addition section in the forum

Recently I have noticed price of some of the cars added when mod system was initially introduced is way too high, this has lead to low popularity of otherwise perfectly fine mods which the server needs to address.

2 egregious examples I have noticed are GG 55 and Devil Z.

GG55 has the following specs

5.4 litre V8 / All wheel drive
Power :355 kW (476 bhp) @ 5820 rpm
Torque :700 Nm (517 lbft) @ 3401 rpm
Total mass :2412 kg (5317 lbs)
Power-weight : 147 W / kg (200 bhp/ton)

With income 2 and price 90k

Whereas BZG SUV only costs 60k with income 2 with the following specs

Engine : 5 litre V8 / All wheel drive
Power :337 kW (452 bhp) @ 5307 rpm
Torque : 881 Nm (650 lbft) @ 1482 rpm
Total mass :2068 kg (4560 lbs)
Power-weight :163 W / kg (222 bhp/ton)

Similarly uf pickup costs 55k and has following specs

Engine :5 litre V8 / All wheel drive
Power :339 kW (455 bhp) @ 5715 rpm
Torque :696 Nm (513 lbft) @ 3117 rpm
Total mass :2048 kg (4515 lbs)
Power-weight :166 W / kg (226 bhp/ton)

Both BZG and UF pickup are faster onroad and more capable offroad which makes no sense since GG55 is priced almost double.

Similarly with Devil Z priced 38k with income 2

Engine : 2.4 litre inline 6 / Rear wheel drive
Power : 213 kW (286 bhp) @ 7303 rpm
Torque : 319 Nm (235 lbft) @ 5285 rpm
Total mass : 1208 kg (2663 lbs)
Power-weight : 177 W / kg (241 bhp/ton)

when compared to r34 GT-V34 priced 24000 with income 3

Engine :2.6 litre inline 6 / All wheel drive
Power :303 kW (406 bhp) @ 7030 rpm
Torque :485 Nm (358 lbft) @ 4624 rpm
Total mass :1563 kg (3445 lbs)
Power-weight :194 W / kg (264 bhp/ton)

Even with higher weight r34 is clearly a much faster vehicle on LFS.


There might be a couple more vehicles that are not priced right compared to its peers when the mods initially arrived to safeguard TC economy or due to major changes by the mod creator but they need to be fixed now.

or the MQ 150 that can't even get out of it's own way being a +3 when it should be a +4.5 minimum

I agree there are many cars that deserve more than +4 but I am not sure why chuck has decided +4 as the hard limit for earning. Even Uf1 deserves to be a tier above XFG in its capacity to earn money but only beecucle has an earning greater than +4.

Chuck currently has his own method to decide which income is suited for a mod. He may not have been using this method at the time of adding the aforementioned mods. IIRC those were some of the earlier ones.

It may be useful if you can format your thread a little more clearly so that your request / suggestion is easy to for Chuck to process. It's a lot of text at the moment and it's a bit off-putting to sift through it.

Once you have done that, maybe you could kindly ask Chuck in-game to see this thread and then hope for the best.
