15:10:69 I am parking on the pitstop. Alt-tabbing (AFK) for a while while being on the pits.
When I get back to LFS ( interval of 1-3mins ) , I got suprised I am in Spectator mode. Checked Replay and saw that this "~Soloman[COP]~", chased me while being on the pit WHILE BEING AFK. The reason? He said MOT INSPECTION. ( not visible on the mpr since i stopped it, but could be checked by admin i guess )
Is this a real reason for getting chased, Have I breaked a law to get chased at first place? Or he just did an "routine inspection" to check if I have everything alright
Since I was AFK and I did not click anything if there was even a insim popup, I get spectated and I lose my bonus.This isn't really important, the bonus was not that big.
Before started writing this report, I scrolled through the COP manual if there was an update regards to the MOT stuff ( If you could start a random chase out of nowhere just to check if he has valid MOT inspection. ( If the suspect being chased have not made an illegal thing at first place(Speeded, WW, dangerous driving at first place)))

I'm sorry I can't check the replay right now, however just to let you know before an admin picks up this report, if you have an expired MOT on your current vehicle, it will show up in the cops ANPR/LEAS system.

Hi,

I'm not sure why this has been posted as a report as I think you were seeking information rather than intending to report another user. The reason you got spectated was the insim detected you were lagging while being chased ("NO DRIVER LICENSE forced to spec for lagging.") while you were continually alt+tabbing and doing whatever it was you were doing and auto-spectated you. Soloman didn't have anything to do with that.

As Ash has explained, cops with an ANPR camera can see cars with violations (speeding, wanted for theft, expired MOT, etc.) and Soloman is within his rights to chase you for an expired MOT. You had been stopped for a total of five seconds before the chase was initiated, so it's not as if you had been AFK for a long time and it would be reasonable to expect you were still in game. Being AFK doesn't prevent you from being fined, so this is a moot point.

No rules were broken, your own alt-tabbing triggered an anti-lag protection system in the insim and Soloman decided not to fine you anyway. I hope this explanation has been useful.
