1.02.15 - I came to the center and saw josh chasing the player with squid tag. Nick was in the same chase. However, I did not see him because he was coming from the opposite lane (I know that it is forbidden to go in the opposite lane when chasing if your own lane is available). Since I only saw Johu, I thought there was one person in the chase. When I left the hub, I gave way to Josh, you already see this, but I didn't know that Nick was chasing and the name text on the screen was pointing to Joh. Also, Nick moved into the opposite lane after I changed lanes. This is a possible situation, but if he had stopped pushing me and continued in the opposite lane and switched to his normal lane from the gap ahead, there would be no problem. However, he preferred to come at me and slow himself down. I think this is an excuse for a ban.

1.05.00 - I leave the pitstop and see Josh chasing me again and I give way to Josh. Afterwards, I gave gas to get on the road, but I didn't realize at first that Nick was coming from the right side. I don't know why I didn't notice, but as soon as I noticed, I applied the brakes. My purpose in stopping there was for Nick to continue his chase from the other lane at that speed. There was a distance between us and he saw me getting on the road and slowing down on the road. If he had pressed the brakes and turned the steering wheel to the right, he could have slipped out of there (We animated this to prove that it was possible to get out of there, I will leave the link to the video below). But instead of trying to dodge, he preferred to apply the brakes and steer towards the barriers rather than towards the empty lane.


When I asked him why he didn't move to the other lane, he left my questions unanswered and banned me. I don't understand, Nick constantly bumps into other players and always finds the other person at fault. One of the things I don't understand is that I gave way to Josh in both of these cases, why shouldn't I give way to Nick? Nick is not my enemy, he is not someone I am fond of (I guess I am that way for him ).

Hi Salman,

I understand you are probably quite young and don't really have much going on besides gaming, but please remember that every single member of the [TC] admin team are adults with personal obligations, including jobs. Therefore, it will occasionally take more than a few days to deal with an unban request or indeed any other [TC] administrative task.

Since you asked me on Discord to look into it, I have looked into the replay and will give you a preliminary response to your unban request.

The ban is absolutely fair. Your unwillingness to take even a shred of responsibility won't take you very far here, nor in real life. You should work on that while you can.

I highly doubt Nick will unban you. Should he deny this request, please don't bother appealing.

As it's now the weekend and it's raining outside, I'm willing to waste a little bit more of my time on you. As BP said, we are volunteers that help to look after the server, but our real life priorities come before dealing with anything in-game.

At the point you swerve over to the right, I have already returned to the left side for a couple of seconds and I am directly behind you. Your argument about me being on the wrong side as you change lanes doesn't really hold water here. Instead, you move over as I'm approaching alongside, which would have forced me into the end of a barrier. I'm sure you can work out why it was necessary to push against you, as your actions would have wrecked my car otherwise. Going into oncoming traffic (there were cars coming from the opposite direction) on Industry Way is near certain suicide, I'm not sure why you would expect me to take such a risk due to your inability to obey sirens.

When this happened in game, it seemed like such a perfect block that I didn't know whether to attribute it to stupidity or malice, but on review perhaps it's not the latter. I have to wonder though, if you had been "surprised" by me also being in the chase just a few minutes before, would you not have registered that if Josh had just gone past you, I would also be nearby?

Regardless, you drove across the road directly in front of me. From my point of view, if you kept moving, the left lane would have become clear by the time I arrived and I would have passed behind your car, following the line I was already taking. If you had already made a bad decision to move out in front of a chase, the worst thing you could have done is brake and stop directly in the path of me. Sadly, that's what you did. I was not going to brake and go right as firstly, that would put me into oncoming traffic and I wasn't sure if the road would be clear as I wasn't expecting to do that, and secondly I wasn't sure if you'd keep moving forward - I hoped you would have had the sense to do at least that, but perhaps if you've blocked my path twice in 5 minutes I should have readjusted my expectations accordingly. Depending on where you came to a stop, moving right would have come close to putting me in a wall, as it nearly did in your recreation video.

I appreciate you took the time to recreate the situation with a friend, but that will never work for one simple reason - before you start, you already know what's going to happen and can prepare in advance. Sadly, I'm yet to develop my telepathic powers, so as the situation develops in real time I have absolutely no idea what's going through your head. Based on your driving, presumably very little. I have no idea if you'll pull out, hold position, keep moving, brake in front of me, realise you've messed up and spectate, etc. The best I can do is guess and continue accordingly.

I hope your questions are no longer unanswered. To help your understanding, I don't "constantly" bump into other players and I am quite capable of finding fault with my own driving when necessary - I find it very easy to apologise if I cause a situation. Perhaps this is something you could consider as you did not apologise in any way for either of the situations above, instead deciding to start arguing with me about the second crash. I don't know why you shouldn't give way to me either, but you didn't, and that's that.

The actual conduct of your driving was poor, but the main reason with issuing a ban was the fact you were immediately argumentative. If you would have accepted fault and apologised, this would not have blown up into the situation it has become. However, for almost every situation an admin has had to speak with you, you seem to refuse to accept fault and instead find reasons you're innocent. We are not enemies, I don't have anything against you as an individual, but you will have to start accepting responsibility if you want to keep playing here.
